meaningful life focused on her
family, faith and friends. She
slipped away peacefully in her
home surrounded by her loving
family on January 17, 2013. She
valiantly fought ovarian cancer
for four and a half years and now
dwells in the presence of God.
Renate was the second daughter
born to devoted parents Willy
and Elisabeth Trumpp on
February 16, 1938 in Frankfurt,
Germany. There she developed
into a beautiful, spirited young
woman where she learned
how to wear a purse, tidy up a
house and love unconditionally.
She was fortunate to meet and
marry Ron Mann and soon after
left for America to start a new
adventure.
Renate’s greatest desire was
to become a mother and was
blessed with four wonderful
children. She taught them
how to love and found joy and
happiness in seeing them grow
into adulthood.
In 1986 Renate met the love
of her life, Jerry Iverson and
enjoyed her fairytale life with
him traveling the world. Their
family and friends would find a
heaven on earth as they spent
time with them in Seattle and in
their favorite place, Maui. No ka ‘oi.
Renate’s faith was unwavering;
she believed that love and our
relationships will go on forever.
Her legacy was one of selfless
service, love and bringing joy to
others.
She is deeply cherished and
will be greatly missed by her
family: loving husband; Jerry
Iverson, wonderful children;
Rod Mann (Suzanne), Yvonne
Fletcher, Heidi Hass (David),
Miki Mann (Patti) and Trina
Hofford (Frank), 15 beautiful
grandchildren and 7 sweet great
grandchildren.
