I had the privilege of working with Saba for the past four years. Every morning, the first thing I would hear was Saba coming through the door while on the phone, speaking lovingly with one of her daughters before beginning her day. Even then, it was clear that her family always came first.Saba was so much more than a coworker—she was a mentor, an advocate, and a dear friend. She helped me find my voice, stood beside me during difficult times, and inspired everyone around her with her intelligence, kindness, and courage. She was deeply committed to employees' rights and to making a real difference in the lives of others.What I admired most was her grace. In all the years we worked together, I never once heard her raise her voice. Instead, she led with wisdom, dignity, and compassion, while still fighting fiercely for what was right.I have not stopped crying since learning of her passing; the world feels a little dimmer without her in it. To her beautiful daughters, please know that your mother was a hero to me and to so many others. She touched my life in ways I will never forget, and her legacy will live on in the countless lives she changed. May God comfort your family, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.

I worked with Saba at Swedish. She was always helpful and kind, and truly cared about the patients and their families. She was a wonderful person and I send my sincere condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.

I counted Saba in my heart as a woman I trusted completely. She walked with me side by side during a challenging time, glowing with her radiance and honorable to everyone. She will be forever fondly remembered.

My heart is broken at the loss of my dear friend, Saba.

Although I was her pod leader, there were so many times when she was the one guiding me. I valued her insight, wisdom, and unwavering honesty. If you asked Saba for her opinion, she would always tell you the truth, but she did so with such love, grace, and kindness that you walked away feeling supported, encouraged, and stronger than before.

During the difficult early months of the COVID pandemic, we worked together at a small hospital and spent countless hours talking, supporting one another, and helping each other carry the weight of those challenging days. When my grandfather passed away from COVID, Saba sent me a thoughtful book that brought comfort during one of the hardest times in my life. That was who she was, someone who showed up for people when they needed her most.

She lifted me up, encouraged me, and reminded me of my own strength when I struggled to see it. I am especially grateful for the loving email she sent me just a few weeks ago, a message I will treasure forever.

Saba's strength, compassion, wisdom, and legacy will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched. I will cherish her memory always and carry the lessons she taught me in my heart.

Thank you, my friend, for your patience, your honesty, your kindness, and your love. You made this world a better place, and I am better for having known you.

I have been in SHOCK since the news of Saba passing. My condolences to Eden, Epic and the rest of the close family.
Saba, thank you for being a supportive and caring Friend.  Saba helped me  through my huge transition relocation from WA State.
Saba , thank you for the daily and frequent phone calls to check on me after two major surgeries.  On one occasion,  Saba sent a door dash meal delivery to my home after a long day at doctor's office postop. Thank you for the beauutiful daily and surprise e -fflowers.  Your friendship was special and I love you, I have a big hole in my heart the size of the Grand Canyon! God be with you and rest well.

Saba was a very kind Lady, Wonderful Nurse and beyond,  I appreciated Saba's mild but Strong mannerisms, always welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. Saba will truly be missed by so many of us. Rest in peace 🙏🏿

Saba, you will be deeply missed. This news truly caught me off guard and has weighed heavily on my heart.

I remember the first time I met you when I worked in the NRO and you were the night charge nurse on 8SW. From the very beginning, I saw what an incredible leader you were. You led with both grace and strength, and I could always count on your support, encouragement, and wisdom throughout my various roles in the Union.

You had a remarkable ability to analyze situations and thoughtfully determine the best path forward for both your patients and your coworkers. Your intelligence, compassion, and steady leadership made a lasting impact on so many lives. You cared deeply for others and carried yourself with a kindness and dignity that inspired everyone around you.

My heartfelt condolences go out to your family. I am praying that God surrounds your husband and daughters with His love, comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time. Your legacy will live on in the many lives you touched. ❤️

Saba never said no to me. And this video is an example of the many occasions i invited or ask her for something, and she never hesitated saying yes. 

She was like a senior sister to me. I trust her judgment, she  was always there for me when I need her, and I liked sitting on the same table with her during meetings because she was smart, intelligent, insightful, and inspiring. May your amazing soul rest in perfect peace. You will be missed.
