

Marilyn Martha (Busch) Ratigan passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 24, 2025. She was 89 and had recently moved back to the South Bay after living 26 years in Las Vegas, NV. She was born on September 1, 1936, in New Jersey, and moved to Germany when she was one.
Marilyn grew up in Germany during World War II and returned to the US when she was a teenager, living with her parents in Philadelphia, PA. She attended the University of Southern California, where she met and married her husband, Thomas Michael Ratigan, Jr.
Together, they raised their family in Rancho Palos Verdes before relocating to San Clemente, CA, and then Las Vegas, NV.
Marilyn was predeceased by her parents (Bernard Busch and Anna Marie (Hotz) Busch), her husband, and her son, Thomas Michael Ratigan, III. She is survived by her daughters, Kelli Vieweg (Alan) and Theresia Ogiego (John), her grandchildren, Lauren Ratigan (Gaige Bilich), Emilie, and Brodie Vieweg, and her great-grandsons, Jax and Travis Bilich.
A Mass of Christian Burial is planned for January 24, 2026, at St. Lawrence Martyr Church in Redondo Beach, CA. She will be buried with her husband at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV., in a private ceremony.
