

Barbara Jean Gingher, died peacefully in her home in Belmont, CA on Christmas Eve with her loved ones surrounding her. Born on August 11, 1932 in San Francisco, CA, she was 82 years old and lived in San Mateo County for over 80 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, William & Bernice Gingher, her brother, William M. Gingher, Jr. and her nephews, William M. Gingher, III and Harry Gingher. She is survived by her dear friend Maralyn Clark, nieces, Lana Thompson, Mary Ganley and Lisa Small and her nephew, Gary Gingher and also by first cousins, Jackie Sodaro and Jim (Opal) Kane. She is also survived by her grandnieces & grandnephews and also her many great-nieces & great-nephews and one great-great-nephew. She will be especially missed by all of her multitude of friends. Barbara was a teacher in the Belmont School District for 36 years specializing in Special Education. Family and friends are invited to attend viewing on Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm at Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Road, Redwood City and Funeral Mass on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 300 Fulton Avenue, Redwood City. Graveside Service will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1975 Santa Cruz Avenue, Menlo Park, CA.
