Eva was born in Eaton Colorado and lived there during her early childhood. As a young woman, she lived in San Francisco for many years until moving to the peninsula. She spent her remaining 45 years in Redwood City.
She was happiest when she was surrounded by her grandchildren & great-grandchildren and was very proud of each and every one of them.
Eva was a very compassionate, caring and strong role model to so many and had the love and respect of all who were fortunate to have known her. She was known as “Mom” to many. She had a beautiful smile that lit up her face and loved engaging with everyone, especially young children and the elderly.
She worked at Hewlett-Packard Company for over 13 years and after retirement enjoyed being a hostess at The Olive Garden in Palo Alto. Prior to that she worked for many years at two convalescent hospitals in Menlo Park providing wonderful, loving care to many elderly patients. This is also where she met and fell in love with her husband Dale.
She will be deeply missed by her family who cherished and loved her so very much.
A viewing will be held at Redwood Chapel in Redwood City on Tuesday, March 20th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm with a Rosary beginning at 7:00pm. A memorial mass will be held Nativity Church in Menlo Park on Wednesday, March 21st at 3:30pm.
