Gregoria (Toyita/Victoria) Chicas was born November 17, 1926, in Nahuizalco, El Salvador and passed away on October 22, 2018, at the age of 91. Toyita/Nani and three of her children immigrated to Redwod City, California in 1972 to be reunited with her husband, Armando Chicas and two of her children. Toyita/Victoria were the beloved mother of three sons and three daughters, Ricardo A. Chicas Moran, Edgar M. Chicas, Nelson A. Chicas, Delmy Mazon, Ana G. Oyola and Herminia Baladad. Her husband, 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and all who knew her will greatly miss her. She took pride in her delicious cooking and enjoyed feeding family and friends. She loved teaching her children about her traditions and culture from her beloved country of El Salvador. She has left behind an incredible legacy about strength, resilience and pride, which will be passed on to our future generations. We Will never forget Gregoria (Toyita/Victoria/Nani) for her integrity, heart of Gold and strong sense of family values.

Ella ha dejado atrás un legado increíble sobre fuerza, resistencia y orgullo, la cual será transmitida a todas nuestras generaciones. Nunca olvidaremos a Gregoria (Mom/Toyita/Nani) por su integridad, corazón de oro y fuerte sentido de los valores familiares.
