Biography

Isela Campos was born on November 12, 1976 in Trujillo Peru. The eldest child of Eladio and Norma. As a child she was very active, happy and outgoing. She enjoyed being by her mom’s side and emulating what her mom did. Mischievous at times which earned her multiple visits to the hospital.
Growing up in Peru she enjoyed going to the beach, playing at the Plaza De Armas (Town square), going to the movies on Sundays and getting ice cream afterwards. Even in childhood she loved being at family gatherings.

At age 11, Isela and her family relocated to Redwood City, CA where she would go onto attend Hoover Elementary, McKinley Middle School and Sequoia High school. She then attended Cañada College where she completed and AA degree in Early Childhood Education, her passion was working with kids. She worked for many years at St. Michael Preschool & Infant Care and had recently started at Sequoia Children Center.

A fan of music, dancing, as well as dancing shows. She enjoyed dancing to salsa and listening to live music. One of her favorite activities was attending “Music on The Square” on Friday nights during the summer. Most of all she loved spending time with her youngest cousin Kevin and two nieces, Mayabella & Morgan and countless friends as well as her beloved ShihTzu, Rocky.
She was a great friend to all and welcomed everybody with open arms, a sweet smile and big hug.

Isela is survived by her parents Eladio and Norma, brothers Edwin and Eli.
