I always think of “Dad” when I am taking about safety with my students! The year I lived with the Chisholm, I would get home late because of work or rehearsals . One night, a man followed me home but I was afraid to pull in the driveway so I drove all the way to the police station. He drove away finally and I went home. The next morning, Dad told me to lay on the horn until he comes out and he would take care of anyone following me! ❤️He was an amazing, kind man! I am so glad we got to see him last year! My husband enjoyed getting to know him too!! My thoughts and prayers are with you always as you mourn the loss of a great man.

My condolences to the Chisholm family. I am sorry to hear of Tom's passing last week and will remember many wonderful discussions and experiences with Tom. He was an engaging, smart, funny, and welcoming man. I enjoyed spending time with him and Joan, discussing their time on the West coast and the many wonderful family and work experiences they had. Tom made you feel right at home, in his home. We shared some great times and there was often a lesson to be learned in his simple discussions and conversations. He will be missed and my thoughts and prayers for Tom and his family! Regards, Charlie Bodine

I will truly miss you, Tom. You were a friend and confidant for me. Always there when I needed support, especially in being like a father figure for Brad. You had such a wonderful sense of humor and were so kind to put up with me all these years. May you rest in peace. Love you.

Tom was a wonderful brother-in-law. Loving and funny, he always had a hug and smile for me. I was fortunate to have him in my life for almost forty years. He will be in my heart forever.
