Ruby passed peacefully May 3. She was 95 years young. She was a loving mother and grandmother to son Jay (Linda) of Sagle, ID, their children David, Erin and Zachary, son Duane (Donna) of San Carlos, CA, their sons Ryan and Tyler, and stepson Gary (Marcia) of Red Bluff, CA, their sons Jeff, Jerry, Joel and Jarvis. Born in Iowa and raised in Miami Ruby moved to San Carlos in 1948 when she married her beloved husband Ray. She spent her life dedicated to the arts and worked with a variety of medium though her true passion was with painting in oils. She had an extraordinary gift of having the ability to always find beauty in everything around her. Ruby was extremely fortunate to be surrounded with many wonderful friends. She and her warm smile and open heart will be forever loved and forever missed. Services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00am at Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Road, Redwood City, CA. 94061. With a reception to follow at the American Legion Hall in San Carlos on Laurel St one block north of Holly St.
