Timothy Holmes

Tim Holmes (affectionately called Timmy) of Redwood City, passed away suddenly on August 17, 2015; he was 52 years old. A native of Redwood City, CA born on April 12, 1963, he lived here his whole life. He proudly attended Sequoia High School, and received his B.A. from San Jose State University. His career focused on finance, systems and sales compensation; most recently he worked for Apple, Inc. for 10 years. Tim was married to Kathie Jeske Holmes since March 5, 1994. Together they created a beautiful family. He loved and treasured his daughters: Emmalee Grace (19) and Maggie Kathryn (17). He is also survived by his parents Royce and Katie Holmes of Redwood City; sister Michelle Anderson of Livermore and two nieces; Godparents John and Peggy Copeland of Redwood City; mother and father-in-laws Robert and Maureen Jeske of Redwood City, and many relatives from his parent's hometown of Mishawaka, IN. He had many friends he considered part of his family. Our Timmy had a big heart, a sense of humor that was irresistible, was fiercely supportive and incredibly stubborn at times. He had a love for the 49ers, Giants, science fiction, fun gadgets/toys, his daughter's involvement in raising livestock for 4-H, Disneyland and Maui. His sudden departure has left a huge hole in our hearts and lives. Family and friends are invited to attend Timmy's Memorial Service on September 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. for a celebration of his life at St. Pius Catholic Church, 1100 Woodside Road, Redwood City. You are encouraged to wear purple, his favorite color.
