

Daniel Perez Barba, 85, a lifelong resident of Reedley, California, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, at Palm Village. Daniel grew up in Reedley, the town he would proudly call home throughout his entire life.
Daniel was a proud veteran who honorably served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he dedicated his professional life to a long and successful career at General Cable, where he worked diligently until his retirement.
On June 12, 1982, Daniel married the love of his life, Rachel Montes, building a beautiful life rooted in love and mutual devotion. They remained happily married for many cherished years until her passing July 5, 2014.
An active and respected figure in his community, Daniel was a dedicated member of the Shriners, contributing his time to their fraternal and charitable missions. Outside of his community work, he was an avid hobbyist with a deep passion for collecting firearms, a pastime that brought him immense enjoyment and connected him with fellow enthusiasts.
For years, he and Aunt Rachel were regular, proud fixtures in the stands, acting as a constant source of support and encouragement for Coreen and Nelson Jr. Beasley during their school sports years. Daniel was always there to cheer them on, celebrating every milestone with love and pride. He will be remembered by those who knew him as a dedicated family man, a proud patriot, and a loyal friend.
A Graveside Service will be held on September 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Reedley Cemetery District, located at 2185 S. Reed Ave., Reedley, CA 93654
