He was born on September 9th, 1939 to Elo & Allie Guy in Winters Texas.
Don served in the US Navy he was on the USS Salisbury Sound.
Don married the love of his life Sharon Moffitt on December 12, 1959. Together they had 4 children, Tim, Scott, Mark & Shelley, followed by 9 grandkids and 15 great grandkids.
After 56 wonderful years of marriage Sharon Guy lost her battle with cancer on July 28, 2015.
Don had many passions; He had a lifelong love for high-speed racing as a NASCAR car owner, racer and fan.
Don spent countless hours operating heavy equipment. His goal in life was to move a mountain and he did. His rugged work ethic, along with his wisdom and faithfulness to his family.
Don married his second wife Linda Scott on November 27th, 2022.
His stories, laughter, and steadfast nature will be deeply missed. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the memories shared by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by a loving family, and many close friends who will continue to honor his memory.
