Doris Harder passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025 at Palm Village in Reedley, California. She was 95 years old. Doris was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Henry Harder, and four of her siblings.
She is survived by her son, John Harder and his wife JoAnn of Somerset, KY; granddaughter, Tina Harder of KY; grandson, Thomas Harder and wife, Kimberly of KY; sister, Luella Dick of Lynwood, WA; brother, David Karber and his wife, Elaine of Fresno, CA; brother-in-law, Leo Franz of Fresno, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews who remember her fondly.
Doris Jane Harder was born on November 13, 1929, to Ben and Louise Karber in Fairview, Oklahoma. She was a successful secretary for some years, and also a loving housewife, mom, grandma, and a wonderful
partner during Henry’s many years of pastoring and ministry.
