My deepest condolences to the family. I am so very sorry to hear this news and I missed to hear when the services were. So sorry! 
This saddens me so much to hear about Ernie. He was always so kind when he visited us at the bank.  He was truly a special person and will be deeply missed.

This man came into my life twenty years ago. Twenty years may sound like a long time, but with someone like him, it never feels like enough.

From the beginning, you showed up. Day after day, year after year, with quiet acts of love that built a foundation stronger than words. That’s who you were! not flashy, not loud—but steady, dependable, and full of heart.

You’d clean my car just because you knew it would make my day a little easier. You had my tires changed because I was a naive kid without a dad and didn’t know better! And the burritos—God, the burritos. You had this way of turning simple food into comfort.

You showed love through action. Through care. Through doing.

And through all of that, you taught me what it means to really be there for someone. You didn’t just enter my life, you made me feel like you were always a part of it. 

I’ll miss you señor Ernie! Your quiet presence. Your big heart. Your deep loyalty. Your love.

Thank you, Ernie—for everything you did, and for who you were. You made my life better, richer, warmer. You were my bonus dad, And I’ll carry your love with me, always.

To my cousins Patty, & Steve, & Ernies children & entire family. I wanted to reach out & give you my deepest condolences on the passing of my cousin Ernie. I hadn’t seen Ernie in such a long time. But I remember him dearly. As Steve & Ernie and I used to hang out at the ranch when we were kids & we used to get in trouble together. I still remember the day that Ernie had his BB gun. I want to say he was around 12/13 I’m not sure. But he ended up shooting himself in the foot. Boy did we all get in big trouble Thank God he was OK.Ernie, you will be dearly missed by all your family.love you

The early days when we were truly wild and free . We only ever had fun when Ernie was at the helm . We miss you so much Ernesto but we will keep going . Thank you for being so solid as a friend I always and will always look to you as my older brother that I never had . May God bless you and will see you when I see you so long brother .
