Frances was born to Anastacio and Julia Chagoya in Cutler California on March 16th, 1929. She was a resident of Reedley for her 94 years of life.
Frances was a homemaker, seasonal fruit packer, and a teacher’s aide. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Vargas of 69 years. Together they raised 4 children, the late Daniel Vargas, Sally Carrillo, Eric Vargas, and Mark Vargas. She had 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, daughter in laws Kelly Vargas and Irene Vargas and son in law Danny Carrillo. She is also survived by her brother Anastacio Chagoya Jr
