Maria moved with her family from Texas to Fresno County in the late 1960s as a young child. She made Reedley, California, her lifelong home, living next door to her parents and sister in the community she loved.
Maria was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, Godmother, and friend. Her greatest fulfillment came from serving others. She enjoyed working, volunteering, crafting, cooking, and providing for her family and friends. For more than 20 years, Maria owned and operated Just 4 You Hair Studio in Reedley. She was proud to be a business owner in the town she loved, where she built lasting relationships and made time for her family and community.
Maria’s generous heart touched countless lives. Through volunteer work, donations, offering small jobs, and providing sports equipment to local children, she was always looking for ways to help others. Her kindness extended far beyond her family, leaving a lasting impact on the many people she met. Maria loved life and her contagious, one-of-a-kind smile could brighten any room. Her passion for helping others and her dedication to those she loved will forever be remembered. Her legacy of love, generosity, and service will live on in the hearts of all those she touched.
Maria is survived by her loving husband, Alejandro Morales; her sons, Alejandro Jr., Andres, and Adam Morales; her sister, Hermilia Hinojosa; her brother, Pete Flores; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Amparo, Maria, and Horacio Hinojosa, Gavin Lutz, Pete Jr., Kooper, and Olivia Flores.
She will be deeply missed by her family, close friends, and the many people who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
A service honoring Maria’s life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Dopkins Reedley Funeral Chapel in Reedley, California. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the old St. Anthony Catholic Church, followed by graveside services at Reedley Cemetery.
