Maria Esther Reyna

Maria Esther Reyna, born in Fresno, California, to Domingo and Estela (Amaya) Rodriguez, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025, in Clovis, California. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Maria had a vibrant and outgoing personality, truly a social butterfly who never met a stranger. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed, always ready for a conversation, and sharing her love of life. Dancing and music brought her joy, and she had an undeniable passion for both. She was also known for her incredible cooking and baking, and her family fondly remembers the warmth of her kitchen.

Her heart belonged to her family.

Maria is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Jose Reyna Jr.; her children, Joey Reyna III, Rico Murillo (husband Juan), and Andrea Reyna (husband Ruben); and her cherished grandchildren, Isaak, Isaiah, and Ian. She is also survived by her father, Domingo Rodriguez, and her siblings, Bertha Tristan, Cynthia Garcia, Domingo Rodriguez Jr, and many nephews, nieces, other family and friends.

Maria was preceded in death by her mother, Estela Rodriguez, and her brother, Cheno Rodriguez.

A celebration of Maria's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Dopkins Reedley Funeral Chapel, 2200 S. Reed Ave., Reedley, California.

Maria will be forever remembered for her kindness, her love for her family, and her joyful spirit. She touched the lives of many, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
