Mickey was born in Dinuba, California, on August 19, 1942, to Franklin and Jean Debuskey. He attended Dinuba High School, graduating in 1960, before attending Oregon State University and graduating from Fresno State University. Mickey also proudly served in the California National Guard.
Mickey devoted his professional life to agriculture, spending much of his career in produce sales. In January 1972, he married the love of his life, Sandy. After beginning their family in Visalia, and moving to Fresno, Mickey and Sandy returned to Dinuba with their son, where they made their home.
Mickey will be remembered most for his devotion to his family and friends, his tremendous sense of humor, and his infectious laugh. He believed in the value of hard work, loyalty, and honesty, and he lived those values throughout his life. Mickey had a special ability to bring joy and laughter to the people around him, and his presence could always brighten a room. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Jean Debuskey. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; his son, Ryan (Tracy) Debuskey; his grandchildren, Katelyn and Ethan Debuskey; his brother, Steven (Rosa) Debuskey; his sister, Debie (Gary) Cabral; and his nieces and nephews, Matt, Eric, Kara, Emily, and Rigo.
Mickey leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love that will remain with his family and friends forever.
Services celebrating Mickey’s life will be held on Saturday, September 5th 2026.
Graveside service at 9:00 AM at Smith Mountain Cemetery, located at 42088 Road 100, Dinuba, CA.
Following the burial, a memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM at Dinuba Presbyterian Church, 1250 E Nebraska Ave, Dinuba, CA.
A reception will follow immediately after the church service at Ridge Creek Golf Course, 3018 Ridge Creek Drive, Dinuba, CA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dinuba Presbyterian Church.
