My deepest condolences to his family. I met Monico years ago and always remember how kind and full of life he was.  I'm saddened to hear of his passing and I'll always remember him for the wonderful human he was.

I have memories of my uncle Monico visiting gordo and I when we were at my mom’s in Sanger. He would often take us to foster freeze for twisters. I also remember him visiting when we were at my dad’s house or hanging out with my cousins at my uncle Angel and Dee’s house. I remember one day specially where I went with him to the store and he let me pick my favorite candy. Now as an adult I have heard he was always a helping hand no matter who needed it. He even took gordo on a school field trip when our parents were not able to be there because of work. I thank God for allowing us to have some time with him here at home and that my husband and daughter got to meet him. His uplifting soul will be cherished and I know God is taking care of him.
