In Loving Memory of Ruben Gomez, a beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa. He was a retired route salesman who worked 40 years with Teamsters Union. He started his career with Target Sales, then moved on to Frito Lay, Eagle Snacks, and finally retired with Mother's Cookies. Ruben passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on September 19, 1948, Ruben, originally from Parlier CA, was deeply friendly and had an outgoing soul who loved nothing more than to talk with people. Whether a neighbor, a stranger, or a longtime friend, Ruben had a gift for conversation and a genuine interest in their stories. Ruben loved watching sports, especially local boxers Jose Ramirez and Richard Torres. He also looked forward to watching San Francisco Giants baseball and Buffalo Bills and Raider football games. He and his beloved wife, Rosemary, shared a beautiful partnership and recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. They started their day with gardening in the yard followed by a cup of coffee, enjoying the beauty of their garden work.
Ruben’s character was defined by his generosity and kind spirit. He was always ready to lend a hand, frequently helping family and friends in need. Ruben is a cherished uncle and nino offering guidance, support, and unconditional love. He left a legacy of kindness and selfless service that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
