Rudy Ponce Estrada

Born May 10, 1942, in Tulare, California, Rudy lived a life defined by simple pleasures—riding his bike, listening to music, and searching for hidden treasures, antiques and collectables. Though his formal education was limited, his work ethic and determination led him to a long and steady career with PPG in Fresno, where he worked for 30 years while faithfully providing for his family.

Rudy will be remembered as a no-nonsense, “put up or shut up” kind of man. He spoke plainly, expected the best from others, and believed deeply in personal responsibility. He had little patience for excuses, instead instilling a sense of pride in his children and placing great importance on protecting and honoring the family name. Along with his strong character, he will also be remembered for his sense of humor and exceptional good looks.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jenny; his children, Alonso, Alicia and husband Elvin, Ruben and wife Christina, and Daniel and wife Alliene; his grandchildren: Stephanie Estrada, Melissa Estrada, EmmaLee Chen, Joshua Collazo, Mike Estrada, Kensey Branch, Jennifer Johnson, Jenny Coronel, Isaiah Estrada, Jonathan Sanchez, and Sophia Collazo; great-grandchildren: Kiary, Malia, Lyla, Luca, Daryanna, Alaia, Emma, Hayden, and Julian; and his siblings: Mary, Joe, Molly, Albert, and Amparo.

Funeral services: Viewing on Thursday, April 23rd at 5:00pm – 9:00pm and Funeral Mass on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 10:30am; both taking place at St. Anthony’s Parish located at 1018 N. Frankwood Avenue, Reedley, CA 93654.

Rudy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
