
Agatha passed away peacefully on October 31, 2012 at Silver Heights Care Home in Raymore SK at the age of 90. Predeceased by her loving husband Max on April 6, 2006 and son –in-law Glen Gentles on September 4, 2010: Agatha is survived by sons Alvin of Quinton, SK, Raymond (Judy) daughters Shirley Gentles and Beverly (Stan) Ollinger all of Regina; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie Moldowan and Giz Wideman of Punnichy and one brother Vince of Fort Qu’Appelle. Agatha was born on Feb. 28, 1922 on the Gyorfi homestead. Agatha married Max on October 26, 1939 and became a farm wife and mother where she kept busy doing farm chores and raising her family. Agatha always had a large garden where she canned and preserved the fruits of her labor. In 1969, they moved to Quinton where she raised just as large a garden, babysat and was custodian of the Post Office for a number of years. On Feb. 6, 2012 she became a resident of Silver Heights Care Home. The family wishes to thank all the special care givers of Silver Heights that took such great care of Agatha. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday Nov 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Quinton, SK with Very Rev. Francis Plaparampil, Celebrant. Interment to follow in the Quinton Catholic Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined, however donations in Agatha’s memory may be made to Silver Heights Special Care Home, Raymore SK, S0A 3J0, Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St. Regina SK, S4P 2R3 or to a charity of your choice.
