We always think we have more time. Time to reconnect, compare notes, and share stories one more time.

I am so very happy and proud that you built a life surrounded by a loving family. A family that you loved and loved you back, completely. That is the truest legacy of who you were.

We were very sorry to hear of Aldine's sudden passing. We have happy memories of time together playing ball, visiting over various holidays and out at camping. Aldine had a great smile, was always up for fun and was welcoming to everyone. We are keeping her daughters and her grandson close in our thoughts during this sad time. We hope that they find comfort and strength in each other and in all the good memories they have of time spent together. Sending peace, love and support to her family and friends. Aldine was more than a co-worker she was also a great friend. She loved her children and her grandson Azariah. He brought great joy to her. She was proud of her girls and talked about them lots. She was a great mom and the best nana anyone could ask for.

We are so glad that we had the chance to take her to our cottage by Crooked Lake less than 2 weeks ago and spend the whole weekend with her. She had the biggest smile on her face. She learned how to make pieorgies, breakfast pizza, homemade ice cream and Flapper pie. Also helped with Blueberry Banana Muffins and Cookies. Of course she got to take some home with her for lunches and to share with the girls. We also went for a drive to show her our farm that over looks the Qu’Appelle Valley. She was in awe of the beauty of the valley.

She was always happy, funny and had a great sense of humor. Aldine was very kind and a joy to be around.

When we brought her back home she gave us both big hugs. I told her I loved her but who knew that would be the last hug or the last time I would ever see or talk to her. I will cherish these memories forever. Rest In Peace our friend.
