Aldo Giovannetti

December 19, 1929 – April 2, 2013

Aldo passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, April 2, at the age of 83. Aldo’s battle with Alzheimer’s has finally come to an end. He was predeceased by his parents Maria and Domenico in Italy. Aldo is survived by his loving wife Giulia; children Bruno (Katrina), Laura, Luciano (Sherry), Domenico and Fabrizio; grandchildren Mark (Shana), Amanda, Chris (Christina), Ryan(Kim),Jennifer, Justin (Shylah), Jarred and Terry; great grandchildren Elijah, Emily, Ericka, Dominik, Stephano, Luciano, Taiyen, Gabriella, and Luca. He is also survived by his brother Lido (Ameriga) of Regina; sisters Santa, Bruna, Gina (Luigi) of Italy; and numerous nieces, nephews & relatives. Special thanks to Stella and the staff at Pioneer Village for looking after him for the past 3 years. Thanks also to the staff on 3D at the Pasqua Hospital for making his last few days with us as comfortable as possible. Prayers will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 7:00pm at St. Cecilia’s RC Church, 5020 7th Avenue. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 10:30am at St. Cecilia’s RC Church, 5020 7th Avenue.
