Two years have gone by so quickly. Many good memories of Bill and
his mischievous sense of humour. No doubt he is in the thoughts of 
old friends and colleagues on this anniversary of his passing.

I find it hard to imagine that Bill and I met almost 40 years ago at the Tartan curling club. In the ensuing years we curled and golfed together and after those days were over we stayed in touch for weekly coffee klatches at the Northgate mall discussing sports and world events. Bill ardently followed the sporting seasons and was a passionate fan of the Packers, Dodgers and Canadiens. Go Habs!

Bill was a devoted son who, in later years, found himself juggling the farm work out at Dysart while providing 24/7 care for his ailing father who was increasingly diminished by Alzheimer’s. While awkward for Bill, this allowed Vasil to remain in his home to the end of his life. That meant a great deal to Bill.

In recent years, notwithstanding that Bill struggled increasingly with failing health and mobility issues, he continued to face these challenges with unfailing courage and good humour.  Myrna, Berit, Rhys and I will always hold his memory in deep affection.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill passing away.  "Uncle" Bill is going to be missed by a lot of people, and I'm one of them. 

I met Bill many years ago when we curled together at the Tartan.  Lots of fun... his subtle sense of humour making it so.  God Bless...

Lori, so sorry for the loss of your Uncle Bill. He will be missed by many friends. He was good friend for many years, curling and coffee meetings. His last years being a struggle with his health were difficult, drop ins to the house to see how he was or help with a couple chores than to be able to sit and remember past stories, many great laughs.
