Brian Warren Brown November 23, 1961 – November 4, 2020

It gives our family deep sadness to announce the sudden and tragic passing of a son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle. Brian will be forever remembered by his mother Jean Brown; sister Betty Brown (Rick); nieces Leticia (Scott) Hurdle, Destiny Brown (Nolan); nephews Curtis Brown (Rachel) and girls, Mitchell Brown; daughter Jeanelle George and her partner; grandchildren Kaia and Joey; and his dear partner Shannon. Brian was the son of Arthur S Brown from Endeavor, Sask and Jeannie Patterson of Saltcoats. After moving from Estevan to Regina they began their family, starting with their children Brian and Betty. They were a very loving family that spent weekends on out of town visits with family members. Brian attended Kitchener Elementary and then Cochrane High School up until his Dad passed in 1976. Brian took it very hard when his father passed away. His dad had taught him how to stucco and plaster, and Brian made a living off his dad’s teachings for most of his career. Brian then passed his knowledge on to his nephew. Come winter he would work as a swamper with moving companies. He always had to keep busy and had a heart of gold. Brian loved working and helping others. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He loved playing Cribbage, Skipbo, and Uno. He would spend numerous hours entertaining in his backyard, with music pumping and a fire burning in the handmade firepit. He was a great friend to many people throughout his life and will be missed dearly. One of Brian’s proudest moments came in 1985 when he welcomed his beautiful daughter Jeanelle into the world. Although he lost contact with her, he was so happy to learn of his wonderful grandchildren Kaia and Joey. Who he would have been so proud to have met. He cared deeply for his mother and did as much as he could for her until her dementia progressed to the point she had to be in care. Brian had recently moved to Camrose to be with his partner Shannon and had been fortunate to find work and spend the last year and a half there. RIP Brian, Till we Meet Again…..

I will always remember his kind, caring, generous, comical spirit. His greetings with the kiddos always made us smile..... (my son) “hey old balls”.... “hey young balls” Brian would reply with a giggle.. their very own special bond. And our youngest he’d greet his “little buddy”. Many FaceTime hellos while he was working weekly with my hubby. One year he came and mowed our yard just so hubby had time to spend with the littles for Father’s Day since they had been working non stop.... He was giving and always willing to help at the drop of a hat if anyone needed a hand with anything. RIP our dear friend, you miss be missed.
