Nick was born on September 25, 1989, in Regina, and passed away on May 15, 2026, at Regina General Hospital, with his family by his side, at the age of 36. Nick was a member of Keeseekoose First Nation. Throughout his life, he worked in Regina as a scaffolder, roofer, labourer, and babysitter. Nick loved playing video games, listening to music, and spending time with his friends and family, especially with his daughter, as well as his nieces and nephews. Nick was fun, caring, and loved to joke. He was always willing to help; he loved and cared for his family and friends in his own special ways.
Nick is survived by his daughter Azalea; his siblings Leo (Jodi), Christine, Carrie, and Candace; mother Marion Cochrane of Regina; sisters Natasha, Tricia, and Hope; Godfather/uncle Robert W. Cochrane (Lynette); Godmother/aunt Sherry Cochrane; uncle Joe (Joyce); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Nick is predeceased by his grandmother Audrey Cochrane (Granny); grandfather John R. Shingoose (Bones); father Herb Favel; and brother Patrick.
Nick will be missed dearly by all those who loved him.
A Wake will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home and Cremation, 2080 Victoria Ave E, Regina, SK, on May 21, 2026, at 4:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on May 22, 2026, at 11:00 am, at the same location.
