Clairece Ferguson

Clairece is predeceased by her husband Fergy (Elmer), sons Terry, Rick and Garth, brother Don and sister Lorraine. She is survived by her son Greg, daughter Shelly, daughters-in-law Leetta (Bill) and Debbie. Grandchildren Mitch, Shawn, Orry, Scott (Lisa), Chad, Chris, Amie, Garrett (Kaelyn), Brett, Lindsay (Lane) and Great Grandchildren Kurtis, Erik, Karli, Hunter. She is also survived by her sister Leota (Tom) and her brother Doug (Millie) and sisters-in-law Sheila and Gertie. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews.

Mom was born and raised in Wawota until moving with her family to Sedley where she met her future husband Fergy. It was in Sedley that they raised their family. Mom was a working woman, working alongside Dad in the Post Office and the Telephone Exchange, at the Roy Wilson Centre and enjoyed her work as the Town Administrator of Sedley until her retirement.

Mom was a long serving member of the CWL, an Associate of the School Sisters of Notre Dame and a graduate of the Lay Ministry Formation Program.

The three most important things in Mom’s life were her faith, her family and her friends and all were intertwined. She had many lifelong friends and enjoyed travelling and a game of cards anytime, anywhere.

A prayer service will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue, on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at Little Flower R.C. Parish, 420 College Ave., Regina, SK on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 1:30 PM with light lunch to follow. If you wish, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
