Daisy Harries

Daisy passed away peacefully on January 26,2019 at the age of 93 years. She is loved and will be missed by her daughter Donna. Daisy was predeceased by her husband David, her parents, her siblings and her in in-laws. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Shiplack and numerous nieces and nephews.

Daisy was born on the family farm south of Candiac. She attended nearby Netherby school. In 1949, she moved to Regina where she worked at Fidelity Life until she married Dave in 1950. They lived in small communities where Dave was a grain buyer and Daisy a homemaker. In 1974, they moved to Regina where she has resided since. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, dancing, singing and watching the Blue Jays and curling on tv.

Donna would like to thank the caregivers in all the care homes Daisy lived in for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing can make donations in memory of Daisy to Pasqua Hospital Eye Center,
