It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald, who was called home by his Lord on the morning of January 9, 2026. A cowboy at heart, he lived his life with faith, humility, and quiet strength, often filling the room with the sound of his beloved country gospel songs and sharing his infectious laugh with everyone around him.
Donald was a devoted Christian whose faith guided every aspect of his life. He found great comfort and strength in his relationship with God and lived with conviction, kindness, and grace.
Donald was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Shirley; daughter, Lynelle; granddaughter, Katie; his parents, Rupert and Marie; and his brothers, Howard, George, Lenard, and Morley.
Left to cherish Donald’s memory are his sons, Eric and Adam (Ashley); his sisters, Mavis, Georgina, Margaret, and Marilyn; his brother, Clarence; his granddaughters, Tiara, Chloe, and Ava; his great-grandchildren, Dustina, Traxton, Carter, Kynnlee, Melena, and Anakin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Donald’s family takes comfort in knowing he is now resting in the presence of his Lord, reunited with Shirley, and surrounded by peace.
