

Don passed away peacefully on April 24, 2016 in Regina at the Pasqua Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Mabel Dixon; and sister, Donna Barragar. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Wendy; son, Terry (Teresa); six siblings as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Don worked at Canada Safeway for over 40 years, much of this time as a meat cutter. He was a people person and he loved to socialize, wherever Don went he made friends. He was a longtime member of Westhill Baptist Church. Don will be remembered for his sense of humour and his laugh.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the home care workers, the staff at the Regina General Hospital and a very special thank you to the Palliative Care team at the Pasqua Hospital. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
A prayer service will be held at 7pm on Friday April 29 and a funeral service will be 1pm Saturday April 30, 2016, both at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
