She worked for many years as a medical stenographer at the Grey Nuns Hospital and for Surgical Associates. After retiring in 1986, she moved with her second husband, George Gras, to Fanny Bay on Vancouver Island, and then to Comox after George’s passing in 1988. Editha loved cruises, and during her time in BC she enjoyed many trips to the Caribbean, Hawaii and Alaska. During this time, she also spent many winters in Arizona and travelled extensively around Europe. She returned to Regina in 2003 to be closer to her children and friends, eventually moving to College Park as one of its first residents, and recently to Qu’Appelle House. She enjoyed visiting with the many people she met at College Park and Qu’Appelle House, but her greatest joy was seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and welcoming a great-great-grandchild. In keeping with her wishes there will be no funeral service.
