

Predeceased by his life partner Sally Kirby; step son Robert (Bob) Kirby; parents Leo & Mary Kocoy; brothers Edmond Kocoy, Stanley Kocoy; brothers in-law’s Carl Sentes, and John Sveinbjorson. Ed is survived by his step sons; John (Joanne) Wayne (Michelle) Jim (Brenda); daughter in-law Ann; seven step grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren; siblings Julie Sveinbjornson, Leona Sentes, Stella (Rudy) Sentes, Martin Kocoy, and Eleanor (Mike) Hehn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pioneer Village in Regina Saskatchewan has been his home for the past 10 years. Ed was born October 13, 1938 in Wishart, Saskatchewan, the second of eight children born to Leo Kocoy & Mary Kocoy. Ed left home at a young age, worked on farms, construction, and later for the City of Regina. Ed and his wife Sally had a cottage at Kanata Valley where they spent their summer’s enjoying the wildlife, garden, and flowers. He enjoyed company and visiting with neighbours. He loved his country music, playing his harmonica, fiddle and guitar and the Rodeo. He also loved spoiling their pets.
