Elizabeth Lindsey passed from this world to the next on July 12, 2016. Dorothy and Sandra were by her side singing “Softly and Tenderly Jesus is calling…Come Home.” She left with a smile on her face. We praise the Lord for her transition to glory, no frail body anymore, and now she can fully sing God’s praises.
Elizabeth (Betty) began her earthly life October 18, 1924, born to Anna and Jacob Froese in Blumenhoff, SK. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Albert; infant son, Stanley Peter; siblings, Helen Bouck, Anne Krahn and Jacob Froese. Elizabeth is survived by her two loving daughters and their families, Dorothy (Alfred) Arendt, Sandra (Bill) Hall; grandchildren, Jordan (Terri) Arendt, Marielee (Patrick) Reddekop, Miriam (Sean) Berge, Matthew (Kristine) Hall, Sara (Greg) Hendricks, Laura (Derrick) Casey, Rebecca (Andrew) Neufeld; 16 great grandchildren; siblings, Henry (Jean) Froese, Kaye (Herman) Bueckert, Robert (Hertha) Froese; as well as many nieces and nephews. Betty was a dedicated homemaker and farmers wife in the Fort Qu’Appelle area. Her gift of hospitality was shared by many. She was involved in the Valley Alliance Church and the community. Her love of family and friends was very evident. We are thankful for all her prayers on our behalf. She leaves a sterling example to all left behind. We want to express a special thank you to the excellent caregivers on Main West at Pioneer Village, they not only ministered to Elizabeth, but to her family. A memorial service will be held on Monday July 18, 2016 at 11:00am at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue, Regina SK. Flowers gratefully declined.
