Emma Smidt

Emma Smidt passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Frank; parents Adam and Magdelena Nargang and eleven siblings. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Ethel (Laverne); son Dennis (Arlene); grandchildren Troy (Tania), Tanya, Jared (Julie), and Tyler; great-grandchildren Tanner, Kiana, Miranda, Maverick, Emerson, Laura, and Samantha; sister-in-law Jean Nargang and brother-in-law Harold Orb. Mom’s love for gardening and flowers will be remembered by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. A special thank you to the staff of Santa Maria for the care they provided to our Mom.
