Esther Eileen Burke (nee Heagy) of Regina, SK passed into the presence of her Savior on February 3, 2015. She was born January 22, 1916 in the Little Woody district, west of Willow Bunch, SK the first of 11 children of Frank and Helen Heagy. She married Harold (Chick) Burke on June 13, 1984. She is survived by her brothers Floyd, Rodney (Anna), Clare (Vangy), and Vince (Susan), her sister Frances (Arnold) Reimer, sister –in – law Mary Heagy and many nieces and nephews, step daughter Kelly (Alvin) Ross and their children, Calvin (Bev), Glen, Sheila (Bruce), Jan, 11 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harold (Chick) Burke, her parents, brothers Lloyd, Clarence and Erwin, sisters Doris Cardinal and Ruby Chute. A celebration service of her life will be held at Living Hope Alliance Church, 3900 Arcola Ave. East, Regina, SK at 10:00 AM on February 9, 2015. Interment will follow at Little Woody Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Christian & Missionary Alliance, Global Advance Fund, c/o Living Hope Alliance Church. Arrangements entrusted to Victoria Avenue Funeral Home.
