Franciszka Deregowski

DEREGOWSKI – Franciszka (Frances) – It is with sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of our Mom, on Tuesday June 7, 2016 at the age of 90, with family by her side, but also it is with peace in our hearts knowing that Mom is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Predeceased by her husband, Tadeusz (Ted) in 2003, Mom leaves to mourn her five children; Darlene (Isadore) Sigda, Helen (Rick) Seida, Stan (Sandy) Deregowski ,

Ted (Andrea) Deregowski, and Cheryl (Aaron) Hoium.

12 Grandchildren:

Kurt Sigda, Krystal Armbruster (Troy) and Rhonda Sigda;

Tammy (Mathew) McLash, Tasha (Scott) Rosnau, Rory (Lesslie) Seida

Stefan (Kate) Deregowski, Tyson Deregowski, (Justine), Kennedi Deregowski

Chanel, Reed and Danica Hoium

And 10 Great-grandchildren:

as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mom was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada where she and Dad married in 1949. They resided in Regina, together establishing a home and creating a lifelong legacy.

Mom was well known for her exceptional cooking. Perogies, cabbage rolls, doughnuts and pies were some of the staples growing up and nobody ever left our home hungry.

Mom loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and always spoke of us with such great pride. Mom’s strong heart and will to live were evident in her final months, holding a special place in her heart for each and every one of us.
