Bud at last found his peace and comfort on Monday October 23, 2017. He struggled, lived courageously and never gave up hope as he dealt with his many health issues. He is predeceased by his parents Patrick Shannon and Barbara Shannon; sister Bella Slater and his uncle Hunter Smith. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Helen, daughter Shawna (Ryan) and grandson Sullivan. Other survivors are sister Marilyn, brother Richard, cousin George, many sisters and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Bud enjoyed his years growing up and working in Cupar where many dear friendships were made. Upon marriage he moved to Regina where he worked and lived the remainder of his life. Bud loved the outdoors and had many passions but they slowly slipped away with his deteriorating health. He loved his family especially visits with his daughter and new grandson, other family members and friends. His love of food and the Saskatchewan Roughriders kept him going until the end. A Funeral will be held at a later date.
