

She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Wally; her parents Mary and Max; sister Rose Gulak and her husband Mike; her brothers-in-law Alf Clermont, Andy and Alex Woloshin; and her uncle John Semko.
Gladys is survived by her sister Eileen and her husband Cec Dillabough; sisters-in-law Elsie Clermont and Shirley Woloshin; aunt Doreen Semko; niece Florence Gulak; and her nephew and Godson Glenn Gulak.
She is also survived by her stepchildren Luci (Greg), Velma (Ali), Duncan, Dale (Debra) and Kelly (Jennifer). She loved her grandkids, Taylor, Deniz, Sabrina, Zachary, Sarah, Jacob, Tina, Daniel, and Scott as well as five great-grandchildren.
Gladys will not only be missed by her immediate family, but by relatives and friends far and wide.
Gladys was born March 23, 1938 and grew up in the town of Lintlaw, SK where she went to school in Lintlaw and graduated high school in Preeceville before moving to Regina.
Gladys began working at SaskTel in August 1957 where she worked as an accountant for 35 years until her retirement in August 1992.
As a young woman, Gladys played a lot of softball and she enjoyed curling. Later, her interests ranged from reading, gardening, and her Mustangs. Gladys was also very fond of her Siamese cat, Sam, and her rescued cat, Gizmo. Above all, Gladys loved to travel. If she wasn’t in Winnipeg visiting her sister Rose, she enjoyed travelling the world. Her frequent travelling companions were her sister Eileen and brother-in-law, Cec. Gladys averaged a trip per year, visiting Africa, South America, Australia, Hawaii, and most places in the Caribbean.
In 1970, Gladys married Wally and became a stepmother to his 5 children. They were married until Wally’s death in 2014.
The family is grateful to Dunsmore Villa Care Home where Gladys lived for the final 8 years of her life. Special thanks to Missy and Martha for their compassion and care for Gladys. They have gone above and beyond, and we are eternally thankful.
