Gloria Muderewich

March 2, 1954September 9, 2020

Gloria Muderewich passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 at the Pasqua General Hospital in Regina, SK at the age of 66. Gloria was born on March 2, 1954 in Canora, SK to Paul and Rose Kindratsky. She grew up on a farm near Hyas, SK with her older brother Bernard and older sister Carol. She attended elementary school in Hyas and then completed high school in Norquay, SK. Gloria married Dale on May 17, 1975, and they settled in Saskatoon. She enjoyed working at the doctor’s office for 25 years before retiring in 2015. It was the perfect job for her because of her caring nature and dedication to the patients and her coworkers. She was fortunate enough to be able to take many trips with her husband, friends, and family and got to see many different tropical locations. Gloria was always easy to find in a crowd, you just had to listen for her laugh. She loved hosting and made her home into an inviting retreat with many activities for guests. Guests looked forward to her cooking, especially her homemade perogies, cabbage rolls, and scuffles. She was always warm, cheerful, and welcoming and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and bird-watching. Her kindness, patience, and caring ways always made you feel welcome and special. Her work ethic, wisdom, and willing spirit has been and will continue to be an inspiration to her family. She encouraged us to be the best we can be and was always proud of our accomplishments. She passed on the importance of honesty and integrity; and reminded us to always find strength in your faith. Above all, she loved her family. Gloria was predeceased by her father Paul in 1989; her mother Rose in 2002; brother Bernard in 2004; brother-in-law Ken Faust in 2015; and father-in-law Peter Muderewich in 2015. She is lovingly survived by her husband Dale; sons Shaun (Sarah Trottier) and Kent (Lisa Rymes) of Regina; sister Carol Faust of Kelowna, BC; sister-in-law Stella Kindratsky of North Battleford; mother-in-law Ann Muderewich of Yorkton; brother-in-law Randy (Linda) Muderewich of White City; nephews and nieces Dwayne (Nicole) Faust of Kelowna, BC; Ward (Barb) Faust of Grand Forks, BC; Jason (Crystal) Kindratsky of North Battleford; Michelle Kindratsky (Kevin Lasiuk) of Saskatoon; and all of their children; as well as numerous cousins, relatives, and life-long friends.

I remember the first time I was in Gloria and Dale's house. The first thing that hit was the fabulous smell. Gloria loved her Birthday Cake candles. Gloria was a perfectionist. The Ukrainian dishes she prepared were delicious. She would stress over Christmas because everything had to be perfect. She worked hard to grow beautiful flowers and plants. Her yard was like a well maintained park. Glor had a knack at attracting many varieties of birds to her feeders. This was the envy of her neighbours and she loved that! Glor might have kept a few secrets as to how she made that happen. LOL. Gloria would always out fish us. Damn! We would introduce a new card game and Bingo, Gloria would win. You can imagine the laughter. No surprise, she wanted to play it again!
Gloria was strong, considerate, hard working, and a good friend. She was committed to her children, Shawn, Kent and her husband Dale. If they were happy Gloria was happy.
God took her to be one of his angels as he must have needed one of the best!
I will miss my dear friend Gloria. Be free. Soar with the angles and thank you for the great memories.
Love forever.

Glor was the office manager when I started working at the medical clinic in 2009. We had an instant personal connection and quickly became friends. She taught me “next level” organizational skills and always showed us commitment to her role. We remained close up until our last phone chat at the end of July. I will miss our lengthy phone calls but I’m so grateful to have had that last visit. Rest In Peace my dear friend!

Sending our condolences to Dale, Shaun and Sarah, and Kent and Lisa. We wish we could be there to offer our support in person. We'll never forget our visits and the fun we all had getting to know each other playing boche ball and cards, and sharing wonderful meals. Gloria will always be with you and those who knew her.

Love never ends.

With sympathy from Kathy, Blaine and Jessie
