Gordon Cecil Holten joined God on Good Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 72 (1952-2025). He was predeceased by his parents, Daisy and Ronald Holten; and his brother Joseph. Gordon is survived by his wife Anita, who has been by his side for 51 wonderful years; his two children Crystal (Travis) Street, and Steven Holten; and grandchildren Rayne, Jade, Cory, Alyjah, Senja, and Joseph.
Gordon was known for his exceptional work ethic and dedication. He held many positions at the Royal Bank; in the early 1980’s, he left the bank to start his own business, H&H Public Autobody. After retiring, Gordon spent his time in Sedley, renovating his yard every year. He constructed streams and waterfalls and even rock formations to place around the yard.
Gordon and Anita enjoyed travelling together. They explored many amazing places, but Florida, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, and the Alaskan cruise were their favourites. Family was Gordon’s top priority. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly and always spent quality time with them when they visited. He cherished every moment they spent together.
We are grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, Regina Cancer Patient Lodge, 3D at the Pasqua Hospital, and Palliative Care for the wonderful treatment and care they provided for Gordon.
Please join the family in celebrating Gordon’s life on Saturday May 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Ave E, Regina, SK.
