

He was predeceased by his parents Melville and Mary; wife Barbara; daughter Merlyne; brothers Keith (Marj) and Newton (Jeannette); sister Greta; and two great-grandsons Chris and Marlin.
Grant is survived by his sons Lorne (Darlene) and Carman; daughters Leona (Dwight), Joy (Bill), and Charlene (Ken); as well as 21 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Grant was born on the family farm in Alameda, SK. He joined the R.C.A.F where he met his wife Barbara. The couple moved back to Alameda and settled on the farm where they raised their six children. Dad loved his life on the farm where they raised horses and cattle. He went to various fairs all over Saskatchewan, winning numerous awards. He held many positions in various community organizations. In his later years, Grant loved playing cards and dancing at the senior center. The family would like to thank the group of people from the senior center for helping dad and making him feel special. You were a big part of his life, for 10 years. He was so proud of his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He always made the comment that he was wealthy in family. Grant lived a full and happy life.
Funeral Service will take place on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, SK.
