Though Hailey’s life was tragically brief, she lived with a heart full of passion and purpose. Her life was boundless, her spirit tender, and her humour infectious. She was an artist at heart, a loyal friend, and had a soul who touched everyone she encountered with kindness and grace. Hailey immersed herself in her drawing, often spending hours lost in her art while music filled the air. Her beauty was captivating with unforgettable blue eyes, and the most precious dimpled chin- a gift from her father. A daddy’s girl through and through, Hailey shared an unbreakable bond with her dad. Not only were they the spitting image of each other, but their connection was extraordinary, a love so deep he would have moved mountains for her. Her mom Tasha was not just her parent, but her best friend. Together they filled their days with laughter; at concerts, shopping trips, car karaoke, and cozy movie nights. Hailey always felt safe in her mother’s embrace, open to sharing the triumphs and trials of life.
Hailey spent countless hours at her grandma Yvonne’s home, her home away from home. Their relationship was one of deep love and rare understanding, a bond few grandchildren and grandparents share. Hailey cherished the many trips to Newfoundland with her parents and grandma, a place that forever held a special place in her heart.
Her cousins were like siblings, their time together was filled with endless laughs, shared adventures, and obviously mischief. The joy they brought each other was boundless, a connection that defined Hailey’s childhood.
Friendships were sacred to Hailey, and the people she held close meant the world to her. Hailey attended O’Neil high school and spent her adult years exploring her path. Summers were spent at Crooked Lake spending days at great grandma Joan’s, lounging by the beach, challenging each other to rounds of mini-golf, long nights around the fire, and of course, making countless trips to the candy store. Those slow, sun-soaked days of summer, surrounded by family and cousins, were etched in Hailey’s heart, treasured moments that formed the foundation of so many of the best memories
