Harold Orb, March 29, 1925 – May 14, 2020 Harold Alfred Orb, son of Henry and Mary Orb passed away at the age of 95 years. Harold was predeceased by his parents; and his wife “Betty” of 70 years; siblings Arnold Orb, Ernest (Regina) Orb, Dorthy Hassman, Edna (John) Wagner; brother-in-law Ron Jeworski; daughter Dianne and son-in-law Ervin Penner. Harold is survived by Dianne and Erv’s children Trevor (Ami) Penner, Kaden, Kaien, Kasen, Kim (John) McKay; son Irvin “Bing” (Amy) Orb; grandchildren Hayley (Daryl) Frank, Jayden, Isla, Jillian Orb and Tracie Orb; sister Ruth Jeworski; sister-in-law Elsie Orb as well as many nieces and nephews. Harold was born March 29, 1925 on the home near Markinch where he grew up farming, which he loved. In addition to farming, Harold also worked for a few years as a grain buyer at the elevator in Markinch. On September 15, 1946 Harold married Elizabeth Nargang. In 1965 they bought a farm north of Raymore where Bing and Amy still live today. In 1976 came the start of their retirement and they built a house in Raymore followed by a move to Wynyard in 1985, where he developed a passion for woodworking; building many kitchen cabinets and special pieces for loved ones. In 2005 Harold and Betty fully retired by moving to Regina. Harold passed away at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina on May 14, 2020. Flowers are gratefully declined, but donations may be made in Harold’s name to the Wheatwyn Cemetery Fund.

So sorry. Deepest condolences. Harold was my uncle by marriage. His wife Betty was the youngest sister of my Mom. Annie Nargang.
I talked with Uncle Harold on the phone a few months ago. He sounded well. We had planned a trip to Regina but recent circumstances didn't allow it. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

Our condolences to the Harold Orb family circle on the passing of a mighty fine gentleman. Kathy & I recall our interactions with the Orbs and cherish wonderful memories. As you enter the heavenly doors, please let Erv & Dianne Penner know we miss their phone calls and visits. Rest in peace.
