Helen Kathleen Bereti, late of Cupar, SK, received her heavenly wings on November 23, 2022 at the age of 97 years, with her family by her side. She is predeceased by her loving husband George Bereti SR (2001); son Anthony Bereti (2022); and sons-in-law Mark, Paul and Rick. She is survived by her loving children Anthony Bereti – Deceased (Rita), Jane Lingelbach, George Bereti (Annette), Ken Bereti (Charlene), Pat Bereti, Anna Marin (Robert), Elaine Bodnard (Linden), Daniel Bereti (Sheri), Monica Bereti (Mark Ballard – Deceased 2014) (Larry), Paulette Bereti (Paul Baril – Deceased 2011), Bernadette Bereti (Rick Ficiur – Deceased 2008), Donna Bereti Cameron, and David Bereti (Josie), as well as 31 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and a 1 great-great-Grandchild.
Mom loved her family dearly. You could always find her in the kitchen, making the many meals and treats to satisfy her large family’s appetites. Everyone recognized her signature holler for everyone to come in for dinner. The more people at the table, the more joy she seemed to take from the day, as did the rest of the family and guests. She also dedicated a lot of her time to her other families – St. Patrick’s R.C. Parish and her CWL. She took much pride in being part of such great groups, and also spent a number of years as a catechism teacher while her children were young. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
All Celebration’s of Life will be held at St. Patrick’s R.C. Parish in Cupar, SK, with Father Gerard Joy Montiague officiating. A Prayer Service will be on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. There will be a Visitation held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place immediately following, at the Cupar Cemetery.
