Irene passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon; her parents; and all her siblings. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her five sons, Gordon (Gayle) of Terrace, BC; Douglas (Melanie) of Toronto; Donald (Christine) of Regina; Timothy (Ximena) of Argentina and Robert (Heather) of Calgary. Irene was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A private family celebration will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
