Isadore passed away from complications after surgery at the age of 91. He was born in Kendal SK, third oldest in a family of 20.
After serving in the Army during WWII, he farmed near Francis until he retired to Regina in 1999. He enjoyed farming, dancing and playing cards, still maintaining his sharp bridge skills while residing in Wintergreene Estates.
Isadore was predeceased by his parents, GEORGE and HELEN (SEITZ), his first wife MINNIE (SCHICK), infant daughter GAYLE, grandson KEITH DREHER, great grand-daughters ALESHIA and ALYSSA GAETZ, his second wife MADDIE (MOSER, Sept. 2013), his siblings: sisters KATE, HELEN and LIZZIE; brothers FRANK, VINCENT, DAN and RICHARD, and many in-laws.
Dad was always proud of his children and grandchildren, who are left to cherish his memory: JOAN (NORM) DALRYMPLE, DAVE (IRMA) DREHER, JUDY (RAY) GAETZ, DALE (AILEEN) DREHER, and their families, sisters MARY, JENNY, MAGGIE (HERMAN SCHILLER), THERESA, ROSE, CAROL, and brothers JOE (SHARON), WENDEL (EVELYN), GEORGE (RITA), PAUL (TERRY), GABE (ELAINE) and KASPER (BETTY). He is also survived by Maddie’s daughters: GINA AND DIANNE, and FRAN’S daughter TARA, and their families, as well as many, many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Isadore’s life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm, with Father Ken Koep officiating, at the Victoria Avenue Funeral Home.
