Janice Elaine Whitequill

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Janice Elaine Whitequill (Nanny) on June 25th, 2019 at the age of 51. She leaves to mourn her children Blade (Ashley) Whitequill, Faye R. Whitequill, Jasmine (Ken) Whitequill, Kirsten (Maria) Whitequill ; grandchildren Cole, Jariah, Tasia, Lily, Aubrey, Emma, and Kenson ; siblings Noreen (Earl) Whitequill, Marian (Gary) Whitequill, Faye (Rick) Whitequill, Morley (Brenda) Whitequill and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her grandparents Jim Whitequill, Bertha Bunny, Vitaline Crowe (Standing Buffalo) and Loui Crowe ; Parents Emile Whitequill, Lena Agnes Whitequill (Crowe) ; Brothers Louis (Whiskey Jack) Whitequill, Bradley Louison SR, Allen Whitequill, Raymond Whitequill, Michael Whitequill, Linus Whitequill, Richard Starr; Sisters Doris Whitequill and Teresa Whitequill. Janice loved to spend time with her family and friends. Her door was always open day or night if anyone needed a place to go. She would do anything to help those in need, even if that meant she would go without. She will be missed dearly. A viewing will be held at Lee’s funeral home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue in Regina, Saskatchewan on Saturday June 29th at 2:00pm. The wake will be held Sunday June 30th at 4:00pm at the Kahkewistahaw First Nation complex. The funeral will be Monday July 1st at Kahkewistahaw First Nation complex at 1:00pm with an interment to follow.
