Joanne Merasty, mother to Tyler Merasty, William Merasty, and Sonya Merasty, and Kokum to Sloane Merasty, passed away on April 06, 2026.
She was born in Meadow Lake, Sask on November 16, 1964
Known for her Joy, Love, Strength, Happiness, Smile and a way of making everyone feel special, Joanne will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Joanne Merasty’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy & love she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
She was predeceased by her parents Victoria (Vicky) & Thomas Merasty; twin brother Joey Merasty; siblings: David Merasty, Ronnie Merasty, Violet Merasty, Bertha Thunderchild, and Sylvia Biron.
She is lovingly survived by her Children: Tyler Merasty, William Merasty, and Sonya Merasty; granddaughter Sloane Merasty;
siblings: Dorothy (Terry) Peressini, Jean Gardiner, Larry Laliberte, Jerry Merasty, Veronica Merasty, and Elsie Merasty; and numerous nieces & nephews & God children.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Ave E, Regina, on April 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM.
