It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our loved one, Joey Dean Agecoutay, 40 years old, on Friday, April 22nd at home on Pasqua First Nation with his family by his side.
Joey was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Cynthia Johns Agecoutay; maternal grandparents Frederick and Olive Lerat; paternal grandparents Gordon and Lillian Johns Agecoutay.
Joey was born on October 26, 1981 at Regina General Hospital. He is survived by his wife Stacy Agecoutay; five beautiful daughters Shontay (Keagan), Jodene (Nick), Memory, Josephine, and Cindy Ann; Joey’s pride and joy was his grandchildren: Kayson Wesaquate, Sophia, Daxton, Joniya, Ashlynn, Kali, and one on the way; siblings Jenna, Jonathan (Kayla), and Jessica (Blair); special brothers Alberts, Kris, Troy, Derwin, Nathan, Milo, Rory, Tatroy, and Rocci; special sisters Lisa, Steff, Natasha, and Tyna; as well as numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Joey was a hard worker and loved where he worked along side his brothers at Pasqua First Nation Maintenance. He loved his music; he loved to sing and dance, he was the light at every gathering.
